orange pay as u go registration

got my daughter a new phone for christmas but cant seem to register it. Anyone else managed to get a new orange phone registered? cs say there is a problem with the 0800 no and their website reg page doesnt respond.
is there another way to reg this phone coz the kidda is getting REALLY loud now!!

Nope that site is unresponsive here too. Looks like that yet again they are swamped with new registrations.
If you go to https://jtreg.orange.co.uk it says the online registration service is currently unavailable and to dial 0800 0790006. Good old orange

Did you try ringing the CS number to try and bypass the 0800 number?

just tell me to keep trying the 0800 no but won't transfer me internally.keep trying and just keep getting the usual "your call is important to us....." blurb .cant be so many new phones reg'ed that it ties all the lines up.

I got my mum a new one for xmas. They registered it (had to upgrade) in the shop for me, but they had mentioned they were having loads of problems due to the system being down alot.

We got the kids both new phones my son chose one on Orange but we opened it and charged the battery, then registered before xmas as it always happens at christmas too many phones and not enough staff in.. placed it all back in the box and wrapped it mae the present ready for use as soon as they unwrapped..
