Re: New Ipod Nano (G2)
IMO they should be marketing an IPod Nano at at least 20GB now for that price

Re: New Ipod Nano (G2)
The shuffle and nano are far too expensive.
Compare the prices: The top of the range Nano is £169, but has 8G storage. The bottom of the range iPod video has 30Gig (over three times the storage) but is only £20 more.
Ok, so the nano has better battery life, but being realistic, how many times are you away from an electrical socket for more than 3 or 4 hours?

Re: New Ipod Nano (G2)
I agree with Stuart. I think the 30GB is much better value. The iPod does have better battery life in this revision as well.

I think you are paying a premium for the size.
Sod Apple though, I really want one of the new Creative Vision players. My current Creative Zen works fine though (including with my Powerbook). Just as well as I couldn't afford a new one anyway

Well, I gave my wife a 4 Gig Nano for her birthday. I purchased it 1 month ago for £140. I could probably get the 8 Gig Nano for around that price in a few weeks. Apple 1 - Danielf 0

Yes, but birthdays have this nasty habit of falling on the same date every year...

Not a bad thought, and not impossible I think: this year she turned 28 for the ninth year running

Are the nanos solid state, whereas the 'larger' iPods are a hard drive technology ?
(Hence the reduced price per Gig for HD techno)
