Would you mind blowing into this sir?
Drinkers could soon have a novel way of testing their blood-alcohol levels. Blowing into their iPod. Yep, you heard me.
Someone has released an iPod addon that gives the user a breath test. "Why plug it into an iPod?" You ask.
Well, it can stream music from your iPod to any handy fm radio. So, not only can you drive off safe in the knowledge that your half-pint of shandy at lunch isn't going to affect your driving, but you can listen to the iPod safely as well..
Here's the link, for anyone interested: http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/09...eath_for_ipod/

Sounds good, however....
Sorry for stopping you, sir, but I noticed that, just before you got in your car and drove off, you appeared to be blowing into your mp3 player.
This made me believe you had had too much to drink - could you please step out of the car, sir?

So currently not legal in the UK then. Not that I need one, I can always tell when I'm too drunk by the fact I fall over a lot. I've had many UDI's (Unidentified Drinking Injuries) from being a bit drunk lol

How ironic if you are listening to The Police "Don't stand so close to me" at the time lol
