Sony NW-A3000 forum
Does anybody know of a good forum for the Sony NW-A3000 mp3 player.
I have just upgraded to Sonicstage CP (4.0) & had to upgrade the firmware to 3.0. This has slowed the menu's on the player to an almost standstill & the battery life seem to be much lower.
I have looked at a few sites but all I read is how much faster their player is. Is it just me, or are other people having problems with this player?
Alan.

Re: Sony NW-A3000 forum
Just upgraded my daughter's Sony NW-A3000 last week - working fine (except it no longer splits the alphabetic list into sections).

This is a good site and forum for Sony MP3 player owners.

I had to "Intialize Disk" on the player & then reload the songs to get the alphabet list to work again (all be it very Slooooow!)

Re: Sony NW-A3000 forum
no dont think its faulty think its something to do with my computer cos it sometimes doesnt do it depending in how i remove the cables. when i disconnect it without 'safely removing hardware' it seems fine. also its fine when i charge it with adapter. weird. think its cos computers genuinly dont like me. i have never bought a computer based product without some software/hardware problem. or im bad with technology.

Re: Sony NW-A3000 forum
HELP I recently had to have a new hard disk but luckily have saved all my files. However on reinstalling my Sony Connect Player software disk I find it doesn't seem to recognise my walkman now. I've read that I maybe have to reinitialise the walkman but I'm no teccy and don't know how. Can anyone help? Also what's all this about sonicstage - I'm in a real muddle.
