Is it worth it?

Yesterday my mrs lost her mobile phone at work. She was driving between different work places so she re-traced her route and managed to find it. But someone had run over it in their car. When she showed me the screen was completely gone but I managed to ring out with it by typing the numbers into the key pad. Rang our land line and she could hear me but I could'nt hear her so recon the speaker is also gone.
Would it be worth having it repaired, or would she be better off getting a cheap phone until next year when she can upgrade again?
Have seen a cheap Nokia 1100 - sim free for around 40 quid including delivery

Re: Is it worth it?

no it's not insured, it's a Samsung E370. Comet have got them for £115 on pay as you go. She wants to know if it would cost more than 40 quid to get it repaired
