Nokia 6600 - is it a good phone?
I'm thinking of buying this - had a recent demo at carphone warehouse.
anyone got one? would you recommend it?
(I'm buying based on camera quality and the phone looks cute)

I actually ordered one from www.dialaphone.co.uk the phone was £50 pounds and the contract was £30 a month which is the best deal ive found for the phone, but i cancelled it when i realised how much the phone weighs, its also a fair bit bigger than my 8310.
Im going with the Sony Ericsson T610 or the Z600
Nokia arent attracting me with any of there newer phones right now.

Re: Nokia 6600 - is it a good phone?
her indoors has the T610 - a bloody good value fone - got it on payasyougo from orange.co.uk at £150.
The cheapest I've found the Nokia 6600 £70 plus a monthly contract of £14 (vodafone).
that works out around £240 which is miles cheaper than any other price I've found.
the lowest sim free price I've found is £340.

the problem is... the nokia has the right look!
(I'm shallow!)
I also had a demo of this baby at the link:-
http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/h..._myx-6/details
nice phone but I have big fingers and the buttons are small... one thing worth noting is, it has a CCD camera not crappy CMOS which means it's good in low light. and it's only £100 direct from orange.co.uk. the link tried to flog it to me for £130 as a special offer!

Re: Nokia 6600 - is it a good phone?
i have aon orange spv e200, upgrade (actually a nre contract cos its cheaper than an upgrade) from a nokia 7650. put simply, the e200 is the best phnone i have had...
£60 and £25 a month contract from onestopphoneshop.
cant say much about the 6600, except i have had a play and personally i dislike the design..

Re: Nokia 6600 - is it a good phone?
I have the 6600 and love it. Really easy to use, camera and video clips look pretty goodfor a phone too. E-mail function is nice, so when on holidays you can take a picture and e-mail it straight away to your mates back home to p**s them off (managed to do this quite well from Oz)
Also you can add various apps to it such as a gameboy emulator, Opera video editing tools and more. Syncs nice with Outlook too, updating address and calendar on both the phone & outlook.
