It's for girls... They can write secret notes whilst listening to the radio and shred them afterwards, so no-one learns about their secrets. I can see how this might appeal (for a little while) to an 8 year old girl...

Well if I manufactured it for boys it would have Actionman possibilities but I'd do it in black and green.

I think it is fine it is just another gimmick for kid's to nag their parents over and be in awe for five minutes of having it.
