Is a DAB radio just like a normal radio in that you just tune it into a frequency and that's it...............ie my local radio station fox is on 102.6 so I can pick it up .................... or does the station have a special DAB siginal that it has to transmit..............does that nake sense !!!!
The frequencies used for DAB are different to FM signals. DAB works similarly to digital cable. Each frequency contains a multiplex, a number of radio stations.
You will need a DAB reciever, a normal radio won't work.

If I buy one is it just a case of tuning to 99.10 for radio 1 and 89.50 for radio 2 and my local station 102.60 is that the way it works
