iPOD Problems Again
Anyone got any advice.
iPOD started showing error when transferring songs so converted to file format and did a quick format. Cannot do a full format as it shows an error.
Loaded up the latest iPOD updater and click restore to get a Write Disk Error. Whats going on ?
When I turn it on I just get the standard support folder icon and url.

I had the same thing happen, needless to say it doesn't work at all now just the folder icon, which means the HDD has failed. I am just going to get a new one as a new HDD isn't cheap.

This happens to mine sometimes DarthYoda, i find that if i bang it (quite hard) on either side against something hard it free's up the hard disk head and you can use it again.

Shame about that mate, I took mine back within a week of buying it, paid the extra and got a Creative Zen Sleek, just too many nigles with the 2 Ipods we bought ( his and hers )   
Seems they're very easily 'broken'  having said that, the GF's hasn't played up in a while

Seem to have fixed it.
Saw this solution on a website - bang the side of it 
Worked a treat. Apparently the hard drive thing gets stuck !
