I have the same phone. I can't help with the memory card issue, but my phone has restarted a couple of time and I find if you turn it off then back on then it resolves the issue

I tried that m8. Try doing *#0000# and see what firmware you have. It might be that.

i have the 3.36 firmware. there is a 3.7 firmware out, but there are issues with that as well apparently

I have the same firmware as you. If there are issues with new firmware why don't they do a recall. I generally like 3 and have been with them since they began years ago. Would threatening to quit after this contract (explaining my length of time with them) get me a new handset? And as if I don't pay them enough £25 reduced from £50 a month for 3 months

I wouldn't think so, considering you have at least 9 months left maybe more.

It's up to Nokia to do a recall not the network operator.

Why don't Nokia get it sorted then and give replacement handsets. I'll tell you it would do a lot for the brand name and their publicity

I agree totally, however Nokia obviously doesn't think there are enough faulty handsets out there to justify a recall and legally they don't have to replace a handset at the first fault either.

Sounds rotten I know, it's just how they go about their business, leaving the Networks to take the flak for their dodgy handsets and even dodgier software that seems to get worse with every update.

Definately - Every time I've had a problem with my 3 phone (before the one I have now) they've picked it up - repaired/reflashed it - and dropped it off for me no hassles.

You can try, but all 3 can do is arrange the repair.

Get them to collect it on Monday and you should get it back by Wednesday.

I know it's disappointing mate, but 3's hands are tied cause if they replace it before it's had 2 repairs they have to cover the cost, not cheap even at wholesale, whereas if it's been repaired twice then Nokia pays for the replacement.

Well I'll phone them tomorrow, try to get a new handset. whats the best one to ask for if they say yes?
