Connecting Home Cinema

Hi, people.

I am thinking about buying a home cinema system with a dvd rewriter and was wondering if I could hear the TV signal through the home cinema by connecting it to the RCA output on the tv (Phillips PW326518)?

I have a telewest DVB4000 digital box aswell so could I use the RCA ouputs on the rear of that.

Sorry If I sound very vague, I'm just not very up on these things.

Thanks.
