PCMCIA In A TV ??

Okay, probably a stupid question, but here goes....

I have a 26" LCD TV with integrated Freeview and it also has a PCMCIA slot. Now, the instruction manual makes reference to it, but not what I can actually use it for.

So, what can I use it for ?? I assume wireless cards but can I stream from my laptop to the TV ?? How does it work then ?

Re: PCMCIA In A TV ??

I would assume the PCMCIA slot would be related to the Digital Receiver, perhaps as an addon to allow you access to Top-Up TV via a plugin card reader or something like that.

I'd go with Zeph. It's probably for a CAM

It will be for a CAM, I assume its an Integrated Digital Freeview TV, my LCD tv also has a CAM slot for TUTV access.

Hmm you obviously didn't actually read his post as he said it had integrated Freeview and we all replied that it'd be for a CAM
