I wonder if we are getting similar things right or wrong? Does anyone at the beeb analise our answers to see if the participants are particularly hopeless at one type of thing?

The perceptual (match the size) questions are known optical 'illusions' which most people will struggle with. The 'what colour is this written in' is known as the stroop effect, first documented in 1935. Pretty much everyone has trouble reading colour names printed in a differing colour. If you don't something's wrong with you. Same with the 'spot the difference' question.
The last 10 questions are factual: you either do, or don't know the answer.
Alltogether, it's a nice summary of perceptual things that people are known to be bad at

9/20 some of those questions, as already said, were 'trick' questions, fooling the brain into thinking something is right when it is actually wrong can't be classed as a valid 'question', surely
