the sucessor to concorde
the european firm EADS is looking to buliding a hypersonic jet with twice the speed increase of concorde meaning a flight from paris to japan would take just 2 hours

I hope I'm wrong, and I hope the UK get involved as Rolls Royce have the most experience with supersonic passenger jet engines.
