Second TV
I have read through other topics that have this same question asked, but I still dont know what to do.
Using the RF out on the back of my Pace box (Blue Remote) I have a perfect picture on a second TV, and can watch Cable on the second det. However, the Remote doesnt work with the sender that works when I had Sky. I have inputted all the codes for my TV (A Philips Combi), but cant even get the rmote to operate the volume etc on the TV, and Im unable to change channel.
Is there a way to get the remote to work?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Second TV
I think you need to get another sender, basically they use different infra red than sky

Re: Second TV
have a look here
http://www.redremote.co.uk
but be sure you fully investigate the compatibility issue, as it is very confusing which combo of remote & sender will work with which stb.

Re: Second TV
"The blue remote controls (pictured right) for the NTL Pace 4001,4010 and Samsung boxes use a standard RC5 based remote control systeml which is compatible with repeaters and learning remotes.
Red-Eye is not needed for (and will not work with) the Pace 4001,4010 or Samsung STBs."
I assume this means that my blue remote should work without anything else being needed?

I've no idea, sorry, I'm still on analogue, myself, so have no experience of the various flavours of box & remote available on digital, sorry - hopefully someone else can help more

no problem, did you have a look at this page on the redeye site
http://www.redremote.co.uk/faqs.html#firmware
and scroll up, there is a list of which STBs will work with one.

Re: Second TV
What channel is BBC1 on? 1 or 101?
If it is 101 then you ahould have a standard Infra-Red remote that should work with most video senders.
You mention you had a sender with Sky, it is not one of the ones that sends the information back down the RF cable (like http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=36559)?Those will not work with anything other than a Sky Digibox.
