Europe's "Little Ice Age" may have been triggered by the 14th Century Black Death plague, according to a new study.
I'm having a hard time getting my head round this theory. Can someone explain it a little better?

So to get our environment back to normal we need to kill off all the farmers?

no - only the ones that chop down forests

it is an interesting study & does show a correlation between the climate changes & CO2 levels, but I think the conclusion that bubonic plague was a major factor is speculative. It is possible the 're-forestation' of Europe was a contributory factor, but just as likely that other phenomena, such as reduced volcanic activity, were also involved.

Only the French farmers, then maybe we can reform the CAP.

absolutely - correlation isn't causality!
