DVD playing in black and white
Why would a DVD that is region 2, bought in a UK shop play in Black and white on my DVD player? It plays in colour on my PC though. All other DVDs work correctly.

Re: DVD playing in black and white
I am sure I had this problem once !
It was sorted ( I think) to changing the output on the DVD player to RGB....
http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Article...Connectors.asp Maybe worth looking at or testing
Hope this helps.

Re: DVD playing in black and white
could just be a borderline bad pressing. I had one recently that faded in & out of B&W & colour on my stand alone player, but played fine on my PC & that is what I put it down to

Re: DVD playing in black and white
Its an American cartoon DVD. Could it be anything to do with NTSC/PAL? The DVD player has a switch at the back for NTSC/PAL/AUTO that I have just found from the online manual (not at home at the moment).
Does my TV have to be able to accept a NTSC input though???? or does the player just "translate" it into PAL???
LG DA-3520 surround DVD system btw...
