Nope the SCART cable goes directly into the TV.
Its weird, the Sky using the same cable and same port works perfectly. The DVD plugged into a CRT TV using the same cable works perfectly. Its just when the DVD is plugged into the LCD TV that it goes green. Hopefully there is a setting on the DVD player to sort this out.

Re: DVD - Green tint on new TV
Right, got home and found the menu on the DVD player and there was an option called "TV Output" in here there were two choices, Composite and S-Video. It was set to Composite. I changed this to S-Video and lo and behold the picture was fine with no green tint.

Yeah. Its weird why it would work on two other TV's using the SCART connection, but on my new one - still using SCART to connect it had to be changed to S-Video on the DVD player.

Well as the Sky and the PS2 both work I don't reckon its the TV and I'm planning to replace my DVD player anyway at Christmas.
