hi i dl alot of AVI's tv shows etc on pc via p2p . . instead of watchin on my tft or encoding to play as dvd on player is their any dvd players (affordable) out their that can just play a dragged and dropped avi on tv??

i don't think so.

try connecting a cable between your pc and tv, if you really want to watch them on your pc

and, if you are downloading ilegally (which i'm assuming you are) then not being able to watch the downloaded files on a tv is one of the setbacks, and therefore it might be wirthwhile to just buy the dvd? you can get them dirt cheap off ebay.

got TV out on your video card? I watch all my movies this way. I have 5.1 sound but i used to output the sound to a 5.1 capable hifi and used that for dvds and such. Coupla ways to do what you want, depends on what stuff you have to hand really
KiSS make a divx player if thats the sorta thing your after,(Ebay). For that money money though you might as well get a new video card with a tv out and rig the sound
