Sound

I have a TV with a plug (same type as monitor) to plug into your computers HD and use the TV as a monitor. I do not know how to get the sound on the TV though. The back of my TV has a red colored socket and a white colored socket for plugging SCART audio cables in. I a scart audio cable with a red plug and a white plug and on the end of it, there is a speaker plug size plug (same size and the end of speakers you plug into your PC.

Would this get my PC sound on the TV if I plugged the speaker end of the plug to the HD's soundcard, and plugged the red and white SCART audio plugs into the tv?

Your TV should have two Phono sockets. Your PC will have a 3.5mm socket for speaker/headphone connection.

As long as the cable looks similar to the one below, you should be able to use the TV speakers.

I would assume that the small plug would be for a headphones output.
What you would need is a cable that goes from mini jack that plugs in the back of your soundcards speaker out port, and then the wire would go to a left and right phono rca connector.
