HD Recorder for NTL

Does anyone use a HD recorder with NTL digital? If so can you recomend one?

I'm assuming you are referring to Hard Disk recorders. If so yes. They work just the same as a VCR would.

As with any technology of this type, it's out of date when it's at the shop, so there is no point me recommending my particular Pioneer HD & DVD recorder combi, being nearly a year old.

I have the JVC DR-MH30S, it's a HD (160Gig) and DVD recorder. Picture quality and functions are superb. It is a little noisy though. Similar to a quietish PC. It's probably the hard drive fan.


Before spending your money, you could wait and see when NTL intend to release their PVR. It will give much better functions than any stand alone HD recorder. I have seen estimates between this December and 2008, however some that appear to be in the know are saying it will be sooner rather than later!!
