Is This A Good LCD TV ?

http://www.electricaldiscountuk.co.u...s.php?pid=4721

It seems to meet all my requirements......

It needs to be at least 17", be less than £350ish, be wall mountable, have a good picture, scart socket and widescreen. The viewing angle also needs to be good so that its visible from the bed which will be lower than the TV on the wall.

Another point, the wall mount is £70 with these guys but with it being VESA I reckon I can get a cheaper one from the usual high street - any thoughts on that or whether its better to get the LG one ?

If cr@p - any other alternatives ??

Thanks in advance !

Re: Is This A Good LCD TV ?

SBH, A couple of years back I did some contract work at LG. IMO their quality is cr*p, and their service backup is appalling. Only IMO of course. The number of returns they had was appalling, only matched by the manner in which the company dealt with them. Of course, men people are happy with their products, but I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Hope that helps!

i have one of those... cracking little tv. has a whole host of inputs so i'm never short

be aware though, neither are hd ready... despite what that link says to yours. it doesn't have dvi or hdmi inputs though it is capable of the resolution.

edit to say... it has a 170degree view angle, is vesa mount compatible and it tilts a little bit too. also has teletext...

check out this too... http://ws4.richersounds.com/showprod...RELI-RLT17AP15

They both look pretty cool. Does the first one have the usual aerial in connection ? And it does not mention scart ???
