Advice pls on O2 tarrif

I am currently with O2, and my contract runs until next June. The tarrif i was on and have been for a long while is

O2 leisure plus = 1000 off peak minutes per month, and 25 xnet minutes per month with 100 text messages.

Off last months bill for instance, my total cost of calls was £12.72 and most of these were to mobile numbers or at peak times. Lazyness made up most of the off peak calls and i preferred to sit on my settee to ring friends on land lines, even tho i could just venture 3 ft away and use my house phone for land lines at no cost on off peak times (im with one-tel for home calls).

Total bill came to £32.10

so i thought i would change the tarriff and O2 have offered me £25 per month for 100m texts and 100 xnet minutes per month. Hopefully i will stay within the amount and therefore save some money.

What i am wanting to know - is this the going rate with other mobile companies?
