The wife's been texting away on her new phone but we can't seem to find any way of seeing the number of characters available in each message before a second or third text is generated. She's pays for her texts on PAYG and on her old phone you can see the number of available characters count down as you type but on this one there seems to be no such facility? Are we missing something?
Cheers as always.

Go SMS is a good text app for android. You could also consider something like Whatsapp which gives free messaging, although it will use your data. However a very small amount.
