Star Trek fans beam themselves up with new apps.
Spotted this on the Radio Times, and I thought this might interest some.
Using a suitably sized image of the Transporter background, there's an iphone App that will simulate the Start Trek transporter and make objects appear and disappear. Over in Calgary, two bus shelters have been transformed to a life size transporter where you can shoot footage make your mates appearing and disappearing.
