Tv Link

Hi my name is Gordon. I have just had a new TIVO installed . There are two points I dont understand. Please forgive me if I am slow on the uptake but I am 80 years old and it is not easy.
Why with this latest technology can I not get Text.
The Virgin media engineer told me that I could go to Tescos and buy 2 scart plugs connect one to the TIVO box and the other one to the TV in the room next door and I would be able to receive the Virgin Media channel in there.
Tesco's don't know what I am talking about, and Im not sure what the gadget is called. Does anybody know what I am talking about? Thank You

Re: Tv Link

Well that is very nice to be able to put a name to it. The Virgin engineer told me they would cost me about a tenner!!. Can you just confirm for me that he one I need is £59.99 Argos Catalogue number 923/9827. Sorry to be a pest but I dont want to go and pay £60 for something that doesn't do the trick

Re: Tv Link

As far as I know they should all work, so the one for £34.99 may be suitable. Personally never used any version so couldn't say for definate

Re: Tv Link

Have today bought and installed the AEI video sender from Argos £34.99. It is the complete answer for me. The system comes with a first class 20 page handbook that takes you through the installation with numerous photos to give you perfect examples of how to do things. So thank you for pointing me in the right direction lads.
