We all do!

Victorinox has unveiled a Swiss Army knife with a USB flash drive that holds 1 terabyte of data.
The company has had a USB knife in its line of products for a while, but the Victorinox SSD comes with several new features: it connects to eSATA II/III as well as USB 2.0/3.0 with a single connector, it has a monochrome graphic display showing what’s on the drive and it supports 256 AES encryption.
Data transfer speeds are 220 MB/s for reading and 150 MB/s for writing data, and the available capacities range from 64 GB to a whopping 1 TB.

It better be waterproof and crush proof if it is in the bottom of my bag of kit.

Sorry i could be wrong here...but the length of the main blade is over the 35mm threshold ..
as i said i could be wrong on this one,but i am sure that any blade over the size of 35mm is classed as an offensive weapon..unless it is a tool carried by someone in a place of work or on the way to or way back from a place of work..

Derek will know better, but:

Knives
In the UK it isn't illegal to own a knife in private, except flick knives, butterfly knives and disguised knives. But used in a threatening way, any knife becomes an offensive weapon.
It's illegal to buy any knife if you're under 18 in England, Northern Ireland and Wales and under 16 in Scotland.
It's an offence to carry any knife in public, even if it's sitting at the bottom of your bag.
If caught, you could face two years' imprisonment and a £5,000 fine.
But it's legal to have a knife in public if you need it for your work (e.g. if you're a chef or a carpenter); if you have it for religious reasons; or if it's a penknife less than three inches long, which you have no intention of using to hurt anyone.

The special exception which exists in the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Sec. 139) for folding knives (pocket knives) is another "common sense" measure accepting that some small knives are carried for general utility; however, even a folding pocket knife or multi-tool equipped with a blade of less than 3 inches (76 mm) may still be considered an offensive weapon if it has a locking blade.[34][36] It is a common belief that a folding pocket knife with a blade of 3 inches (76mm) or less must have a locking blade to be considered an offensive weapon, but the wording of the Criminal Justice Act does not mention locking and the matter becomes a question as to the definition of "folding pocket knife". In the Crown Court appeal of Harris v. DPP (1992)[34] and the Court of Appeal case of 'R. v Deegan (1998)[37] the ruling that 'folding' was intended to mean 'non-locking' was upheld. As the only higher court in England and Wales to the Court of Appeal is the Supreme Court, the only way the decision in R. v. Deegan could be overturned is by a dissenting ruling by the Supreme Court or by Act of Parliament.

Re: I want one!
Less than 3 inches and non-locking doesn't mean to say that you have a right to carry it in a public place.. A bona-fide reason for carrying it is normally required..

Are you suggesting that a 1Tb usb drive is not a bona-fide reason?

Re: I want one!
I carry a small "Boxcutter" type knife (One that has a number of snap off blades) in my work bag in a pencil case, so even if the cops searched me I would be ok.
I have always had one in my work bag, and will continue to do so.
