Micro SD Cards and Apps
I wanna get a larger MicroSD card for my phone atm its a 4GB and i wanna get a 16GB.
Is it just as simple as copying the stuff from one card to the other and they will work ok?

Re: Micro SD Cards and Apps
Check the spec of your phone, most have an upper limit of memory size AFAIK.
You can copy one-to-another if you have a card reader with no problems.

Re: Micro SD Cards and Apps
Although if you are goin to get a new one, go for the highest class possible. It will make sure everything works as fast as it can
So this one would be better http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4...-/Product.html

Re: Micro SD Cards and Apps
On my HTC Desire S, I turned it off, stuck the 4GB SD from the phone into an adapter in my lappy, plugged the 32GB SD into another adapter in my lappy, copied the data from the 4GB to the 32GB, then just stuck the 32GB in the phone, turned on and it worked.

Re: Micro SD Cards and Apps
Be careful what class you get, some phones are picky about what speed will work. Do a search on your phone and the class of speed you want to use, to avoid problems.

Re: Micro SD Cards and Apps
Well ive done a search for the HTC Wildfire and Class 10 cards and cant find any issue. I would expect that if it cant write at full speed to the card it will just write at a lower speed?

Re: Micro SD Cards and Apps
IIRC the class is how fast in megabyte the card can be written to.
I bought a class 10 for mine, and I guess when my current contract expires and i get a new phone, the Micro SD will just drop into the new one. (asuming it supports Micro SD)
