Question T-Mobile PAYG anyone know?

I'm currently on O2 but indoors my signal is non existent, I've looked around and it *looks* like my best signal is Orange, however when I look at the data allowance its a laughable 100megs, but I also know that T-Mobile has merged with Orange and the 2 are essentially the same network now, in addition it looks like I can get 500megs on their PAYG.

Lol all got that? was on O2, need to be on Orange, but I'm going to use T-Mobile which can use the Orange signal.

OK now my questions. On the T-mobile site you have the PAYG plan, and it says:

Quote:
Internet on your phone £1/day maximum
Monthly fair use amount 500MB
Does this mean it costs you £1 each day you use data?
(If it does, after 10 days, you're out of credit)

There's also 'boosters' you can get, which will give you 500meg of data each 30 days, does this stack? i.e. instead of 500meg/month you get 1gb/month?
and does that also cost £1 each day too?

I'm finding data plans on PAYG a bit of a minefield to be honest, but the T-Mobile/Orange scenario seems best as I can actually get a signal inside my house, unlike everyone else.

Re: T-Mobile PAYG anyone know?

One thing to watch, it seems that you only share the 2G signal at the moment, so not great for data if you're relying on the other side of the share.

That's ok. I'd use Wi-Fi for data at home, but it's important I get a signal for calls so 2G is fine for that. Out & about I'm fine once I clear my road (which is annoyingly in some kind of blackspot)
