HTC Desire S SatNav

I have the above phone and use 'Car Panel' to access the built in SatNav, but whe I set a route I the options to use 'Google Navigation and Premium Navigation.

Whats the difference between them and is the Premuim one free as I got no meesage saying otherwise.

I wouldn't pay in anycase as I have a TomTom.

to be honest I've been using Google Maps now and the latest version is really good if you have a good data plan.

otherwise have a look for Sygic as thats brilliant for directions as well :-)

I'm sure the Premium version is paid-for and gives you better traffic updates and things like fuel prices at petrol stations etc

I've used the Premium Edition and i haven't seen any screen saying anything about a trial, nor about a licence.

So I take it I can use it without cost (perhaps it free with the Desire S), even the manual that came with the phone says nowt about any cost.

When I run the Premium ed. it has in the corner Route 66.
