I notice it doesn't say which version of '4G' - LTE? WiMAX? Extended data over 3G making it 3.75G?

The term '4G' is being bandied around a lot with very little if any clarification as to which is going to become a standard, it could end up being the 'VHS vs Betamax' of the 201x years leaving early adopters with equipment which is destined to become redundant.

It's LTE and is 'proper' 4G, not 3.75. If I read my sources correctly the Cornwall trial being run by BT and EE is also 4G/LTE.
