Niggle with new phone
Hi when I set up my new phone yesterday (HTC Desire S) I set up links with Facebook & Twitter.
But via Friends Stream it has added their phone numbers to my phone list, but how do I remove them?
As I accidently called one at 6:50am this morning.

Login to the T Mobile site and register your number to that account then you should be able to see your account.
You're not the only person with the Friend stream problem, maybe this will give you an answer somewhere in the thread.

I had same problem but thanks to reading post I found my solution as Krystal described and it worked! my contacts, hit settings, then went to display, and when you go there it gives you the option to choose only your phone contacts, your google account contacts or facebook contacts, hit facebook and if it is checked un-check it and it should take all of your contacts from facebook out.

Re: Niggle with new phone
Another issue, when I try and connect to my wi-fi, I enter the correct details but it connects and them immediately disconnects.
I've even been next to the router, but still the same result

Re: Niggle with new phone
this can all be corrected by buying a decent phone... they call it the 'iPhone'

The iPhone is not a better phone, just a different phone. There are niggles with that...dare I say the "F" word? Yes I mean F L A S H
There are advantages/disadvantages to iOS and Android...personal preference really, theres no better/worse anymore really

From the people who brought you the one button mouse - the one button phone.
Seriously though, I have an iphone, had an android phone and got a blackberry, iOS is restrictive as hell unless you jailbreak, the video out function doesn't work with many cables (Genuine Apple ones included) and the phone's functionality is at Apple's whim (Remember the vanishing / reappearing tethering anyone?)
Android is still a little quirky, it's starting to get there, but I'll wait until it's closer.
Blackberry OS 6 - seems to have come of age, it's definitely getting there and speaking as one who only got the Blackberry Torch because I refused the Arm and Leg the iphone 4 would cost it rapidly became my favorite phone. It's slicker than a 4, feels smoother, has more options. In fact a friend of mine sold his 4 to get a Torch after trying mine.
That's just my opinion though, each has their preference.

Re: Niggle with new phone
At the op have you got the HTC Sync on auto, as I am sure somewhere in the sync options you can unsync contacts, been a while since I have used a HTC.

There's a tick box to remove the Facebook / insert other social media site name here to remove them. Think it's in Settings somewhere.
Found it yet?? If not I'll check it on my Desire HD and let you know.
Edit: Settings / Accounts and Sync - untick sync contacts on your social media connections ie Facebook, Twitter etc.
