Re: HD TV Internet Recommendations

I've tried an LG DVD RW that was utterly useless and was returned for a NEC which is great and still going strong after many years of use.

I then stupidly tried an LG phone. It works as a phone and has a great camera but the OS/Hardware is so puny you can forget about running any apps or using it's built in features as it is soo sloow zzzzzzzz.

Maybe their TV's are OK but I wouldn't chance it.

We have the 42" of that TV. IMO a great TV with a whole load of features, the only thing you may find is IIRC its now discontinued. We paid 450 for ours from Richersounds.

A great thread from AV forums with a bucket load of info on the 690 series of TV's from LG.
