When is a mobile phone not a mobile phone??
When you plug the Motorola Atrix into its laptop dock and it becomes a laptop

It does look rather cool. If I have to nitpick, I'd say that the way the phone hangs off the back of the laptop looks like a recipe for disaster. All it would take is someone walking past to knock the phone out.
Also, they could have picked a flash movie that the phone didn't have trouble playing.
Would I buy one though? If the price was right, I'd certainly consider it, despite being an iPhone fan.

Personally I'd prefer for the phone to dock where the trackpad is and use the phone's touchscreen as an interactive trackpad.

I think the real crippling factor with this is going to be the price of the dock. Apparently they will be sold for £300. I could buy a good spec netbook for that and just link it to my phone.
More comprehensive phone software could make up for any shortfall of having a separate OS on the phone to the netbook. And Im betting it would be faster too.

I was only saying to someone the other day that I don't regard my HTC Desire HD as a phone, it's a computer that's capable of phone calls.
