HDMI connection problem

Dear All
I have a problem connecting my 40” Sony Bravia KDL-40S5500 with Sony Handycam HDR XR100E through HDMI. TV screen remain black and a message appears “Out of Range”. I’m using high quality gold plated HDMI lead and it is okay as I checked with other device.
Sony Helpline seems to me useless.
Can anyone give the solution, please………….
Thanks
Shafiq, Dhaka.

Re: HDMI connection problem

It is highly possible that the combination of resolution, fps and hz that your camera is currently outputting is not compatible with your tv (honestly).
Try to change the settings on your camera and see if this helps.
