Reduce bass on dell speakers
i received my new dell speakers today, but unlike the other dell speakers i had, there is only one dial to reduce the sound which also reduces the bass. I want to be able to reduce the bass a bit without having to reduce the sound.
I have creative sound blaster software on my system but i cant seem to fund where to reduce the bass.
Any help?

Re: Reduce bass on dell speakers
Do you have the proper creative drivers or the windows drivers.. The proper drivers should enable you to control the sound fully where as the windows drivers will just have volume

Re: Reduce bass on dell speakers
I am assuming they are Dell 2.1 speakers? two main speakers and a bass box?
Try looking for the bass control on the back of the bass box.

yes thats right, but this is an updated model, it has a seperate control which you plug into the bass box but it controls both the bass and the volume, unlike my old one where the volume was seperate and the bass was seperate.

Re: Reduce bass on dell speakers
I was just thinking the last Dell set I bought had the 'all in one' control for the speakers as a whole, but also had an additional control on the back of the bass box which was just for the bass

Re: Reduce bass on dell speakers
Open the creative sound dock and there should be equalizer options in it or sound profiles.

Re: Reduce bass on dell speakers
Click on START, then PROGRAMS and look for the
CREATIVE CONTROL CENTRE.
There should be some settings there, try a screen shot of what controls you have and post it on here.
