Econemy 7 Storage Heaters

Ive had 2 new Storage heaters put in as 2 in my flat the mechinisms for controlling input and output had conked out and since they were 17 year old and original to when flats were built couldnt be fixed.

My Question is this since they are new with new bricks and elements etc do they take a while to bed in so to speak such as a few uses before they reach potential to what they should?

Im gonna put them on for the first time this evening input maximum and output min just to try them and see how they are, they are larger than the ones i had before which are good these are 2.4kw.

Re: Econemy 7 Storage Heaters

The bricks get hot then they get cold, they dont really need bedding in. But you may find that the bricks & elements will give off a manufacturing odour for a while, I personally dont like the smell. Other than that alls good.
