Ovi Maps

Does anyone know how to loads maps onto the Nokia 5230 without going online?, its suppose to be free lol.

I downloaded the Ovi Suite and when i click on Maps it goes to ovi's mapping system like google maps.

Also im using the Bluetooth device to connect to my PC.

Make sure if it is the latest version that you also select a voice or it will just be silent.

Re: Ovi Maps

The newest version of Maps is supposed to be pretty good. As it's still in Beta (I think) you need to get it from Nokia Labs.

I downloaded the latest version direct from Ovi via USB and then found out the voice has to be downloaded separately, it is much better than the old version though.

I am using an N8 so maybe that has had the latest version ahead of the rest.

Re: Ovi Maps

Thought they only offered the UK for us, didn't realise you could specify the home nations.

Re: Ovi Maps

The current version works well on my 5230. Tried the beta a month or so back; found some serious problems and uninstalled it.
