There was a rumour that the bite mark in the Apple logo was a nod to Alan Turing, as he killed himself by eating a apple that had cyanide in it.
Stephen Fry asked one of the top bosses at Apple who said "We wish it was true, but sadly not."

I don't think they like to argue with sentences handed down by the judiciary however old the case..Politicians/government pass the laws and the judiciary act upon those laws. Neither side critiques the other.
