Speaker blown in my Samsung TV
Hey guys I have a Samsung 32" LED TV and the left speaker has blown (model no: UE324000C), its still under warranty as it was purchased on the 27/07/10. I paid £385 for it from the Amazon marketplace. Is it worth getting it repaired or do I just buy a new TV?

Re: Speaker blown in my Samsung TV
If it is under warranty get it fixed if the is little or no cost involved as it should last longer than 6 months, do you really have £300+ to spend.

Alternaitvely if you get nowhere with the warranty, don't those TV's have an audio out port to hook up to your hifi or a cheap set of active speakers.

Amazon have advised me to contact the seller, so will do that tomorrow, when they open

It has a USB port, which I will connect my Bose PC speakers to, but the ports are on the side of the TV, and are difficult to see at the moment.

Re: Speaker blown in my Samsung TV
I'd consider going direct to Samsung for under warranty repair, at least you know it's gonna be sorted properly then

It still has a fault and it could cause other issues so contact either the vendor or Samsung.

The only thing now is Masque, I risk getting a hefty call out charge if they send an engineer

You have an automatic 1 year guarantee from both Amazon and Samsung. They both should be able to sort something out for you so keep on their case.

Re: Speaker blown in my Samsung TV
Well when I got in touch with Samsung on the first occasion this happened, they referred me back to Amazon and the Third Party seller.
