Sub Woofer Cable

Hi all,

I've got a Sony STR-DE875 Dolby Digital /DTS Receiver.

It's 5.1 surround system and I want to move the sub woofer.

The sub is connected via a cable which came with the amp.

The cable appears to to be a standard phono / RCA cable - so can I just replace this with a longer cable?

The outputs looks like this - you can see the sub connection bottom right.

Cool - thanks. Is there maximum length? Not that I'll be going over about 6m.
