Disc Lense cleaners
Hi All thinking of purchasing one of these to clean the lenses of the drives on my Blu Ray Player and Xbox 360. Question is, what type do I go for, I have seen ones that come on a CD (dont know how effective these are) and ones that come with a cleaning cloth and solution.

Cleaning cloth and solution to clean an internal lens? Got a link to that as I wouldn't think it would work that well. The one I use at work is a CD with a solution.

The one I had was a CD that had a row of brushes on the audio side.
I just played track one then it played another track that had the brushes.

Erm thats a CD cleaner on the 2nd link not a lens cleaner, you can bundle it with a lens cleaner though.

Wayne, personally I wouldn't bother with any of these type of products until you absolutely have to.
- my blu-ray player - an LG internal unit, is over 3 years old & still works perfectly (I just watched Inception).
The principle of 'if it ain't broke you don't need to fix it' applies

Poundland had a full cleaning kit for a quid.. comes with lens cleaning DVD/CD disk/solution and also two more solutions and a disk cleaning pad..
