Re: panasonic recording

I read you can use an external hard drive/memory card in the manual on my Panasonic TV but haven't tried. I think I read a review on line somewhere saying the TV can be fussy about hard drives, so maybe google the model number of tv, perhaps the hard drive needs to be freshly formatted or at least empty as well?

As for using a HDD recorder, I have my Panasonic Plasma hooked up to my Panasonic HD-DVD recorder with scart and composite, it can record freeview via scart. you use the freeview tv guide on the tv, select a program, press ok to set the time, and the recorder magically come son and records the program, providing the timer isn't on on the recorder, or you haven't left it on dvd, with no blank dvd in there.

Re: panasonic recording

Welcome!

Would be helpful if you gave us the EXACT model of the TV.
