Recover missed call list on iphone

As per title can it be done? I stupidly deleted a missed call and cant remember the number

Nope.

In theory the data might still be recoverable from the disk within the 'phone, but this would require taking a forensic image of the 'phone (after first applying a type of 'jailbreak' technique to facilitate both direct disk and network access) and then performing analysis of that image to recover the calls database (assuming it hasn't been overwritten).

If you really need the number you could always call your network provider and ask them if it is listed against your account.

Unlikely.

If it's a missed call there would have been no connection established, and therefore no charge (either soft against the tariff, or hard against the account) - even if there was a connection the charge would have been attributed to the person calling not the call recipient so this is unlikely to help.

I could try calling orange tomorrow to see if they could help. No harm in trying. i have a rough idea of the time, that it was.

If the person had there number on private when they called you then Orange wont be able to help but hopefully they didn't

got called again by the same number, didnt answer it, but used my landline when I got home, and it was HSBC, even though the message said I didnt need to return the call, I phoned then using the usual number and passed this number on, and they said it may have been one of their automated surveys. Thought some bugger had taken over my account. Oh and has anyone got a good site for looking up phone numbers, and seeing who they belong to? The number out of interest was 0800 030 4909

thanks for that, left a comment on there in disgust, apparently reading one or two comments on there people have said that calls from this number are HSBC but they ask you for your security details!

. They never ever do that, and its all requested from me by the automated system when I ring them
