Question Samsung Apps on Mobiles?

My friend has a Samsung Genio Slide http://www.samsungmobile.co.uk/mobil...ng-genio-slide & I've been trying to find if I can get any good Apps on it for her.

She's into Running & is doing the London Marathon so I saw http://www.samsungapps.com/topApps/t...19589&listYN=Y but dont know if it will work on her phone?

or http://www.samsungapps.com/topApps/t...11179&listYN=Y

Any ideas?

Re: Samsung Apps on Mobiles?

Nope, the Genio runs Samsung's proprietary phone O/S and both of those are designed to run on Windows Mobile

Re: Samsung Apps on Mobiles?

Is there a way to get a GPS device to track a Map course & say how fast & far you've run without buying a new mobile? Like a SatNav type thing for runners?

Might be worth looking at Trekbuddy http://www.trekbuddy.net/forum/index.php You'd need to buy a cheap GPS receiver though.
