You can compare both phones here:
http://www.nokia.co.uk/find-products/all-phones
Click on the compare buttons next to eah phone and it will list all the features side by side.

I know, they are so dated now, compared to what else is out there.
I had the n95 8gb, and recycled it for £140 after I got my Android phone. My next phone won't be a Nokia.
My son used to have the n96, and there wasn't much difference between that and the n95 8gb.

You can get a pretty down to earth, and from what I have read, unbiased reviews of a lot of the more popular phones from this website.

Re: nokia
Don't bother with the N96 its a couple of years old now. Try something by HTC their current models are fab especially the ones that run on Android.
If you really want a Nokia the N900 is pretty fab.

Re: nokia
I had the N95 8GB and come upgrade I decided to give the Sony Ericsson Satio. It is a really nice phone (especially the camera) and uses the Symbian OS so will be familiar to any ex Nokia.

I prefer Nokia over other makes and when using other brands I struggle with their menu systems.

It does what I want it to do with no issues and has some fun free apps in the OVI store.

I've done the same upgrade as Tony... cant complain too much about the phone.
but from friends experiences I wouldnt go for the N96 or 97 really.
