Re: CF: Clickers Corner
The thing is, noone will notice a difference in picture quality over 1.3megapixels
I still like my vari-angle screen
The D90 is still too expensive for me at the moment, my mate at work's got one and he doesn't like the fact it isn't as user friendly as my D5000 even though they are basically the same kit (albeit the D90 has more software based options)

Halcyon, I love those shots, how did you get them? They are all at amazing angles!

They were taken from the Montparnasse tower that has a helipad / balcony on the roof.
Using my D90 with 70-300 Lens.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
Excellent! It certainly looks like you were hanging out of a helicopter or some kind of flying object while taking those shots!

I've been up there as well - nice fast lift to the top!
I've also been up the Arc de Triomphe, the Grande Arche and and the first stage of the Eiffel Tower - don't think I've been to the 2nd or 3rd stages though for some reason...

Ditto, some great shots there buddy. My faves are 2&3
Is it my monitor or does the haze on the first 3 look a tad blue\purple'ish?

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
Thanks for the comments on the photos.
You are right there was quite a bit of haze and I had to correct the levels. It's gone a little too blue.
I've been to the top of the Eiffel tower too. It's interesting to see from it at night with the Seine river below.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
I tried to take some photo's of the lightning storm that occurred this morning, but it was accompanied by a torrential curtain of rain so wasn't visible. I did manage to record some audio with my little Sansa Clip mp3 player. http://audioboo.fm/boos/169285-thunder-approaching

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
Hi all,
Been working on this for a while but now it's time to make it public!
I've wanted to create an online portfiolo for a while, so here's my first attempt:

Please let me know what you think, what I could do better etc.
Feedback positive and negative welcome!

A couple of points:
I'd make the 'click here' text a different colour to make it more obvious where the link actually is.
Click here to enter my photography portfiolo.
I'd also put an image on the page it links to, it looks a bit bare.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
Hi Lee, just visited your album and it's looking good. I agree with DW about having some form of highlight on the click here button and his idea of having an image on that page.
The other thing I found was that I couldn't return to your original page - the one in your link -from within the site. I thought that your contact details etc. would have been on your Home page but it only shows your index.
LOL I have just read this last paragraph back and it confuses even me and I know what I mean.
