I haven't had a chance to try it myself, but it could be worth a look...
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/zoner-photo-studio12/
"Zoner Photo Studio 12 is comprehensive software for work with digital photographs. It includes all the tools needed for photo processing, including editing, creating effects, organizing, archiving, and publishing and sharing. Zoner Photo Studio was the first comprehensive digital photo processing software to include support for GPS and for the creation of 3D pictures.
Zoner Photo Studio is designed to give photographers what they want: a fast, efficient, all-in-one product that helps them get the most out of their photos. Many photo workflow packages cost hundreds of dollars, but for a fraction of the price, Zoner Software offers the same professional level and specialized features. In the latest version, Zoner Software has focused on ease of use, completely redesigning the interface to be more intuitive."

*nods*
Looks interesting, DW.
Must remember to download it when I get home. (Work are getting itchy about non-approved stuff on their computers)
Although some of the comments suggest that not all the listed features are available on the version offered.

Also be careful when installing. It wants to install toolbars and notifers for givawayoftheday.com. Optional, but easily missed.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
Hello!
Many months ago I posted in this topic that I needed a DSLR camera and so far havent bought one.
Well now is the time for me to look into getting one again and I would really appreciate everyones help.
Firstly, I want a camera that comes with a zoom good for day to day use. I also want a lense for close ups of aircraft. (Imagine being on the opposite side of the runway and you want a close up clear shot).
Out of Nikon and Cannon what best fits my needs and is one better than the other?
I am unsure about prices at the moment. I dont want an entry level camera but something I can play around with and expand over time. So something half decent.
Thanks for your help.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
My first question is do you currently have a regular SLR camera?

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
What sort of price are you looking to pay. I can only talk about the Nikon D90 which can be had with a 18mm-105mm kit lens for around £750. You'd still need a longer lens for the aircraft work something like the 70mm-300mm VR II which costs around £400 (cheaper, third party non VR lenses are available for around £150).

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
Hello,
I currently do not have an SLR camera at all. I'm going from a small compact camera which for me isnt that great for close ups, or for long range zooming. I need something that will get me good close ups from far away which is impossible on a small compact camera. And also good to take pictures in low light conditions too.
I've always believed in buying as best as you can get. Eg. I won't buy something and then upgrade again once I get the hang of it. I'd rather have something that will give me room for expansion and last me a while.
Delta.... I'm not too sure about price at the moment. Maybe I will have to buy my lenses for Christmas instead and build up little by little.
So you would reccomend Nikon over Canon then?
I was looking at the D90. Some people were saying it had problems with it's firmware?
Thanks.

Hubby has a D80 & a colleague of his has a D90 Scotts Flickr Page 2 has a picture of his kit! He seems to get some interesting experimental shots.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
I've not heard of any problems with the D90 firmware, there hasn't been an upgrade since it was released. What sort of problems do these people say it has. I bought Nikon because friends already had that marque and so I was able to borrow cameras and lenses to test them out for myself. I have never used a Canon camera but the reviews say they are as good as the Nikon's. Try them both and buy the one you like. I bought the D90 with the 18mm-105mm kit lens first then later on I added the 70mm-300mm and then a Sigma 50mm Macro. Take a look at my Flickr pages for samples of the D90 and lenses. http://www.flickr.com/photos/deltawhiskey/
