Nice image. If you saw me play you'd be afraid for the cloth.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
I agree with DW, very nice image jabtas.
If you saw me play you would be afraid for your life. If the cue didn't take your eye out a flying ball would at the very least blacken it.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
I actually got a few comments about the dog hairs pulling your eye away from the subject
But have you ever tried to keep a 9 year olds bedroom clean & tidy
So I deliberatly re-shot it today
http://upload.pbase.com/jabtas/image/121312168
Glad I did too, looks far better, I really need to take notice of the image as seen thru the entire viewfinder and not just the subject at hand

When comapring it to my usual RAW convertor (Canon DPP), it blows its socks off
Sooooo much more versitile, and far richer results

I've used both Lightroom 2 and the Beta of Lightroom 3, it's a great program.
I prefer to use Photoshop Elements 8, having worked through Elements 6 and Elements 7, I have more experience with that program and have my workflow charted out.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
This Saturday 30th is full moon time with the moon being close to the earth and low so it should look quite large on the horizon.
Me & a mate are popping over to Mam Tor on Saturday, dont think we'll get anything like this tho.

Re: CF: Clickers Corner
That's a great shot jabtas. Are you trying for another shot tomorrow night?
Although it's a fairly clear night here I am too near to Manchester to get a decent photograph so have given up trying in disgust. I may have another go tomorrow night as we are going out for a meal to an area that may be more promising.

Lovely shot there.
Funny thing is the moon is apparently always the same distance from the earth http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4619063.stm
