thats quite cool

but far easyer to do as its only got to run a compressor now and then to push a gas coolent around the pipes....

actually off the top of my head on first reading ,it might be interesting to overclock a SBC (Single Board Computer) or microPC of the right size and put it in there to keep it far cooler, or even go really OTT on the overclock and also emerse it into some non conductive liquid at the same time.

i wonder if you could get a simple Intel® Atom processor N270 at 1.6 GHz, FSB533 to 3gig or above

i wouldnt say that, OFCOM have already licence exempted Ultra Wideband equipment for short distances, lots of low power stuff already is..., the only real question is, are any already unlicenced freqs good for the heinz microwave device or will they also get exemption from OFCOM ? we dont know what these freqs are , or at least i cant find any references yet...

"UWB uses big chunks of radio spectrum to send huge amounts of data very short distances. Hundreds of megabits of data per second can be shuttled several meters without interfering with other users thanks to very low transmission power"

It's won't have a compressor but instead a peltier plate
